A community in harmony

Where every note matters—and no one plays solo.

The Loneliness Project is dedicated to combatting loneliness and fostering community through the universal language of music. Founded in 2025, our organization seeks to rescue unused pianos and place them in spaces where they can inspire creativity and connection. By bringing live music to old age homes and donating pianos to community centers, we aim to spread joy, reduce waste, and celebrate the power of music.

Our programs

Music-centered initiatives

Piano Donation Program

Donate Your Piano

We find underused or neglected pianos and give them new life by donating them to schools, community centers, and other public spaces where they can be played and appreciated. This initiative reduces waste, promotes music education, and creates opportunities for shared musical experiences.

Musician Visits

Volunteer as a Musician

Every week, we bring talented musicians to old age homes to perform live concerts, fostering connection and joy among residents. These performances create meaningful moments and combat loneliness through the power of music.
